ringo deathstarr - colour trip

take my bloody valentine, the jesus & mary chain, a bit of the primitives and three art students from austin/tx.... form a band and wait a few years. out comes an album named "colour trip". there is nothing completely new.... as said a dozen times on here, but ringo deathstarr also manage to mix their influences perfectly together and add a bit of electronics. "so high", "do it every time" and "tambourine girl" are that fuzzy that they could rock any indie dancefloor around the globe. "two girls" is my favourite track from the album and at least i can hear a some electronics that remind me of m83. if ringo deathstarr would manage to add some more influences or add some surprising elements, they could easily beome one of my alltime favourites. for now they are one super high entry on my 2011 album list. well.... very well done!!!
